Learning Challenge Specialties

The Harbour School serves students ages 6-21 in grades one through twelve. A wide variety of individual abilities is served in our school. Children who benefit from our programs have been diagnosed as having learning disabilities, autism, other health impaired (primarily ADD/ADHD), and multi-disabled. We also serve children with anxiety disorders, clinical depression and other types of emotional problems that often occur with other learning challenges. Cognitively our students range from cognitively delayed to gifted. In each case, the student’s strengths are emphasized while needs are addressed and compensating skills developed. All of our students have an individualized education plan (IEP).

Disclaimer: The Harbour School program is not designed to assist students with acting out aggressive behaviors. Therefore, we do not accept students with a history of physical or verbal aggression or drug or alcohol abuse.
