Food Service Manager - Seeking an innovative, energetic Food Service Manager to join our team. This is an instructional position teaching special needs high school students specific culinary and job ready skills. Experience in the food service industry is required. Ability to operate common commercial kitchen equipment with small class sizes and understanding of time management is essential. Candidates must be ServSafe certified and organization and the ability to meet Health Department standards is a must. This is a very busy, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be able to meet deadlines as required, demonstrate a strong work ethic, be willing to work as part of a dynamic team and serve as an excellent role model for students. Weekend or evening events are infrequent but will be necessary.
Landscaping Manager - Our organization is seeking an innovative, energetic Landscape Manager to join our team. This is an instructional position teaching special needs high school students specific landscaping and job ready skills. Experience in landscape maintenance/management is a must. Ability to operate common commercial landscape equipment and understanding of landscape maintenance schedules is needed. Landscape Services serves as the grounds maintenance shop for the school, and is part of our high school Career Center where our students learn vocational job skills. This is a very busy, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be able to meet deadlines as required, demonstrate a strong work ethic, be willing to work as part of a dynamic team and serve as an excellent role model for students.
Performing Arts Lead Teacher - Experience with creating hands-on, meaningful, engaging lessons and working with special needs students is a must, with an ability to understand students with a variety of learning styles using differentiation of lessons to meet individual needs. Duties include planning and implementation of instruction, differentiation of instruction, IEP case management and mentoring of students as part of a dynamic instructional team. An emphasis on collaboration to create exceptional outcomes for students is required. Duties also include organization of two performances each school year, assessment of student progress, and maintenance of a supportive classroom environment. A bachelor's level trained full time assistant teacher is part of the teaching team. Some weekends and evenings required.
Speech/Language Pathologist - If you are passionate about empowering students with a variety of communication disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, and want to work with a highly skilled team of Speech/Language Pathologists, you will fit right in. At Harbour we value teamwork and collaboration. The successful candidate will be joining a team of 4-5 speech therapists who work alongside lower, middle and high school teachers and other related service providers to create an individualized education plan (IEP) tailored to each student's needs. A master's degree and license in Speech/Language Pathology is required. CCC or CF is required. CFs are encouraged to apply and grow with us in a role that nurtures both professional development and student success. On-site supervision for CF is available. The successful candidate will have a caseload of 25-30 students with a variety of speech and language disorders. Administration and interpretation of a variety of tests used to evaluate speech and language skills is required. Direct services will be provided in individual and group sessions in a pull-out setting or within the classroom.
Transition Specialist - This position oversees the post-secondary goals of students, and develops and implements individual community work experiences for students. The successful candidate with assist with accessing post-secondary services, employment, or higher education, as appropriate. At least two years of experience in transition or provision of community-based support to individuals with disabilities is required, with the ability to assist individual in refining job goals, job development and job training. Applicants must have a good understanding of federal, state, and local programs that provide available community support for independence. Familiarity with eligibility and applying for services is a must. Applicants should be familiar with developing and implementing IEP/Transition plans. This position is part of a larger, dynamic post-secondary team and the ability to collaborate is important. It is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. A bachelor's degree is required.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant/Occupational Therapist - Seeking a dynamic COTA or OT to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with special education students in grades 1-12 to meet educational goals, improve the skills of daily living, and enhance the students' overall quality of life. This position involves working with a multidisciplinary educational team in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will provide services across levels based on the students' individual needs and IEP goals. Strong case management skills with the ability to coordinate care is a must; experience in a school setting is preferred. Proficiency in writing IEPs and assessment reports is required, and a knowledge of pediatric therapy practices is ideal.
