Assistant Teacher/Co-Teacher, Performing Arts - Qualified candidates must have a conferred bachelor's degree and a background in performing arts.  The teaching environment includes small class sizes with a lead teacher and assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

Graphic Designer - Qualified candidate will have a strong background working with InDesign and other graphic design programs as well as experience with office equipment.  This is a full time instructional position working with special needs high school students in a vocational skill area.  Candidate must be able to meet design and print deadlines throughout at 11 month school year.  Position is available June 1, 2019.

Substitute Teacher - BA in Education or related field required. The teaching environment includes small class sizes with two teaching staff assigned to each classroom. The Harbour School teaches children and young adults from ages 6 - 21. Substitutes assist the teacher in the classroom.

Teacher - Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree with teaching experience; special education experience and a Maryland teaching certificate is preferred.  Available positions are for Middle School Science, High School Math, High School Social Studies and High School Engineering/Technology.

Transition Specialist - Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree.  This position requires an applicant with a background in adult services for special and/or high school special education transition services.  Must have a firm understanding of adult services and agencies.  Must have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record.  Duties will include preparing students for job seeking skills, preparing, monitoring and coordinating job coaching activities, informing families of community resources, preparing students for transition after high school to college, vocational programs, day programs and adult services, working with families to access post secondary agencies, and assessing students' job related strengths and areas of need through interest inventory and other assessments.

Assistant Teacher - Qualified candidates must have a conferred bachelor's degree and a background in a field related to education.  The teaching environment includes small class sizes with a lead teacher and assistant teacher assigned to each classroom.

COTA - Qualified candidates must hold a DHMH Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.  Experience in a school setting is preferred.  Will be working with special needs students aged 6-21.

Job Coach - Qualified candidate must have experience with job coaching and working with special needs students.  This position requires an excellent driving record and the ability to work with high school students in the community and at job placements.

Social Worker - This is a full time school-based position working with students with special needs.  Responsibilities include working with students to enhance social skills, meet clinical IEP goals via one-on-one and group counseling.  All candidates must have a current Maryland DHMH license and a minimum of an LMSW.

Speech/Language Pathologist - Seeking full time school based SLP.  Candidate must have completed a master's degree in speech and language pathology.  C's are preferred but we are able to provide supervision for C's if needed. 

Teacher, High School English - Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor's degree with teaching experience; special education experience and a Maryland teaching certificate is preferred.

Vocational Assistant, Wood Shop - Candidates must have a background in woodworking and be familiar with power woodworking equipment. This is an instructional position supervising special needs high school students in the wood shop area.
